For Jane Machine’s “Sand Squid” single, I built a commissioned graphic merch system that treats the scorpion as both symbol and texture. The designs mix distorted typography, pattern fields, and harsh desert palettes to create something between poster art and wearable artifact.
I approached the release as a mini identity system, using the scorpion, or "sand squid", motif across type, pattern, and composition to create a cohesive visual language. The shirts were printed in limited quantity and sold on the Jane Machine website and live concerts.
